The Compromis 720 is a polyester sailing yacht designed and built by Zaadnoordijk in 1978. This vessel has a length of 7.20 meters, a width of 2.50 meters, and a draft of 0.90 meters. The boat is powered by a Honda BF8 LHSU outboard motor from 2023 with an electric start system and a power of 8 hp. The cruising speed is approximately 5 kilometers per hour. Electrical provisions on board include a battery charger, a voltmeter, and a shore power connection. The voltage is 12V, and there is one battery present.

Accommodation and Amenities

Inside, the boat is equipped with a manual toilet with direct discharge to open water. The water tank has a capacity of 100 liters. The stove is currently defective, but the water pump and tap have been recently renewed. The interior features a new deck hatch and a custom-made large drawer and table for extra storage space and convenience.

Maintenance and Points of Attention

In 2024, the boat was taken out of the water for maintenance and received a new antifouling treatment. However, there are some points of attention, including blisters on the hull that may indicate osmosis and a stiff rudder that may require further investigation. Additionally, the depth meter is defective and will need to be replaced. The interior shows moisture stains on the upholstery and a peeling wood finish on one wall.

Additional Equipment

The boat is equipped with a lifebuoy and a manual anchor winch. The anchor is secured with a combination of chain and line. Furthermore, there are outdoor cushions available for extra comfort while sailing.
